For the Beef:
- 2 lbs beef stew meat or sirloin tips, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Β½ tsp dried thyme
- Β½ tsp black pepper

- Season the beef: Pat the beef dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
