– 1 cup all-purpose flour

Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, melted butter, and powdered sugar until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
- In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and mix well.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust and spread it out evenly.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the top is set.
- Allow the pecan pie bars to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
