Ingredients
- 1Β½ lbs ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- 1Β½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Β½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Method
- Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Drain excess grease, then add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 12β15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Let the goulash rest for 5 minutes, then serve hot. ππ§
