Ingredients
- 4 cups corn kernels, fresh or frozen
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Β½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Β½ tsp salt
- ΒΌ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the corn and cook for 3β4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle the flour over the corn and stir for about 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in the milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Add the sugar, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5β7 minutes, stirring until thick and creamy.
- Stir in the cream cheese, if using, until completely melted and smooth.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning.
